From time to time you see ancient caves along the river inside the mountain, and recently scientists have made a excavation in this area to date the caves more then 6000 years old. Some are from buddhists and some are from Bön and Hindu traditions.
In chele we camped the frist time in our tent, and also here was no shower or other comforts. The tibetans are very superstitious, and over almost every house entrance you find a ghostcatcher (see picture). Its a skull of a goat tied with some strings inside a frame. Scarry to see!
Over the Chele village was a mountain platform were i went just before sunset, did sandhya and worship of Lord Narahari. Very nice view...
