Chele - Tamagaon (3750m)

Rising very early and a very funny "catlick" washing inside a pot, puja outside and fast packing after to make our trip to one of the oldest hermitages still in use by buddhist monks as well landing on time to our next destination for night stay, village (!!!) Tamagaon.
We walked fast a steep track leading us to a pass of 3500 meters, stopping in Samar village for tibetan tea. Everyone who comes to tibet has to try or face this kind of tea. Butter tea, called Tsanzie*. Its salty in taste, but very good for health and high altitude sickness. So we drank a lot (even the taste might not very pleasing) of it, and saw how tibetans life a simple life in this HC area. Then we had to take another pass of 3800 meters, and from here we could see the first time the Damodar himal mountain range! Our guide was saying "there you see, its damodar himal and next to it lies the damodar kund", i answered shocked "sooooooooooooooooooo farrrrrrrrrrr?????" it looked like we have to walk for weeks to reach there... very devastating for the mind, so better dont ask ever your guide to show you Damodar Kund from the top of the mountain 7 days before you reach...
